Join RPL School for Fireworks at the Amusement Park
Join RPL School's Student Activities!
This time, we're heading to the amusement park.
This is a large theme park in Beihai, Guangxi.
Beihai was one of the starting ports of the Maritime Silk Road in ancient China.
The park is named after this historic legacy.
What can you find in Maritime Silk Road Paradise?
During the day, there are plenty of rides to enjoy.
The park also offers tasty snacks.
You can even take a boat ride and feel the fresh sea breeze.
Since the park is right by the sea, you can watch a stunning sunset
and admire Beihai’s beautiful city coastline.
Here, you can enjoy themed dances and shows that blend Chinese traditions with global culture.
As you walk around the park, you can interact closely with the performers.
The Nighttime Highlight
The park has long opening hours, but the real highlight comes at night. You can enjoy the spectacular molten-iron fireworks show and a grand fireworks display. (For environmental reasons, fireworks are generally banned in Chinese cities. Only a few licensed companies are allowed to perform them with government approval.)
That’s why our school activity is scheduled to start at 18:00, right after dinner. If you’d like to enjoy more rides and feel energetic enough, you can suggest to the Director of Students to begin the trip at 15:00. Since the park is located outside the city, we will travel together by school bus and return to downtown Beihai after the fireworks show.
Traditional Chinese Performing Art: Molten-Iron Fireworks
"Da Tie Hua" (Molten-Iron Fireworks) is a Chinese folk art with a history of over a thousand years. Skilled artisans throw molten iron into the air, creating countless sparkling sparks that resemble a spectacular fireworks show. Today, it is not only a traditional craft but also a breathtaking cultural performance.
On special holidays, the Maritime Silk Road Paradise presents unique programs, such as a Halloween costume parade and New Year garden parties. That's why RPL School arranges student trips during these festive times.
